Curriculum

Curriculum at Wesley International School follows an American system with focuses on Asia and countries of origin of WIS students. School starts at 7:30 AM and finishes at 2:30 PM for all students except kindergarten.  Junior and senior high school students have 7 periods of study per day, 5 days a week.

Wesley uses a variety of publishers for textbooks including ACSI; Prentice Hall; Holt, Rinehart & Winston; McDougal-Littell; McGraw Hill; University of Chicago Mathematics; and others.

All grades include the core subjects of Bible, Math, English/Literature, Science, and Social Studies. Additionally, electives and non-core subjects include P.E., Art, Music, Languages (Indonesian, Spanish, Mandarin, Korean), ESL tutoring, Journalism, Computer, Video, Photo, Service Project Class, Senior Project, Cooking, Auto Mechanics and others depending on available teaching staff.
